Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) is seeking civil construction services for the development of the Kalkadoon Industrial Estate in Mount Isa.

The scope of work includes:

1. Construction of a new road.

2. Installation of drainage systems and water connections.

3. Undertake minor bulk earthworks.

4. Clearing and maintenance of a swale drainage system to address overgrowth.

5. Potential installation of electrical connections, subject to budget availability.

EDQ anticipates a start date of early September with a completion date no later than March 2026.

A mandatory site inspection and briefing will be conducted on the 18 August 2025 at Kilara Cres, Kalkadoon Industrial Estate 10am to 12pm. Suppliers are required to register via email to procurement@edq.qld.gov.au no later than two (2) days prior to this site inspection and briefing.
