St Brigid's Catholic Church, 198 Brisbane St, Dubbo Air-Conditioning refurbishment and replacement

1. Purpose

Obtain Quotations for the replacement and refurbishment and replacement of the air-conditioning, (Heating and Cooling) system for the St Brigid's Catholic Church (St Brigid's), 198 Brisbane St, Dubbo.

2. Background

The construction of St Brigid's was commenced in the late 1980's and was opened July 1 st, 1990.

The air-conditioning system installed during construction consisted of 5 units, 3 x gas heating / evaporative cooling and 2 x evaporative cooling only. Due to the passage of time and the availability of parts, it has become apparent that the system requires upgrading.

Being a specialised area, consultant engineers, Marline Engineering Newcastle were engaged to design both the electrical and mechanical aspects of the project.
