Tender ID: 590481
Tender Details
Tender Description
Lakes Blue Energy NL (LKO) is the Operator and 50% equity holder in PRL 249 JV with Vintage Energy Limited (VEN) 50%.
LKO recently executed a mutually exclusive and binding heads of agreement (HOA) with Beijing Maison Group (Maison) to undertake a fully financed bankable feasibility study (BFS) to develop a pathway to successfully commercialise the JV's independently certified 26bcf high quality CO2 discovery located at Nangwarry, SA.
A key design feature of the proposed project will be its ability to secure independent certification of the facility's net zero production emissions. Once complete, the proposed facility will be able to sustainably produce up to 200tpd of Australia's 1st branded food and beverage grade CO2 for use by a wide range of customers in the wine, horticulture, food, beverage, medical, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors that depend on this critical input for their business needs.
As part of the ongoing BFS process, LKO is seeking to identify potential offtake customers for its food and beverage grade CO2 production. Based on a successful financial investment decision (FID) being achieved by late 2025, and the receipt of all required external approvals, CO2 supply could commence in early 2027.
Registration of Expressions of Interest LKO requests potential CO2 offtake customers and other interested parties to register their initial interest by email only before 17:00EST 29th August with their exclusively retained project advisors to receive a confidential information package:
nangwarry-co2@maison-australasia.com
All expressions of interest received will be acknowledged and kept in the strictest confidence.
Authorized by: Richard Ash, Chief Executive Officer, Lakes Blue Energy NL 24-26 Kent Street, Millers Point, Sydney, NSW 2000.
