Scope of Work:

At present, the existing alstom synchronisation relay is obsolete. The business is considering replacing the obsolete switching relay with an ABB Sychrtact 6 for GTG 4, GTG5, GTG6, and GTG7. The scope will be divided into the following phases.

⦁ Review and Verify the proper parameters of the circuit breaker, generator, AVR, and governor.

⦁ proposed the program settings for the synchronised relay.

⦁ Develop a settings report to substantiate the rationale behind the Synchrotact settings.

The deliverable comprises

⦁ Relay parameters for the synchronizer

⦁ Calculations for the Synchrotact 6 preset

⦁ Report on Calculation and Settings

⦁ RTIO will conducts a single round of report review, which is followed by an updated report revision 0.

Terminations, Equipment Lists, and Drawings

⦁ Redline the drawings in accordance with the scope specified in the section. The termination schedule and equipment schedule are included in the existing, demolition, and "for construction" forms.

The scope of work described is a summary of the goods and/or services that may be required by Rio Tinto. The specific requirements may change at Rio Tinto’s absolute discretion.

As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, suppliers will be notified of any changes prior to award.

Your EOI response may be referenced or re-used in the next six months if a similar scope of work is required by Rio Tinto.
