Barcaldine Regional Council invites expressions of interest for leasing of Council owned land.

1. The lease term will be for 24 months with a further 12 month option.

2. Land for use for the purpose of stock grazing.

3. Successful applicant will be responsible for excess water charges.

4. Successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining all fences.

5. Successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining fire breaks around the property boundaries.

6. Successful applicant must be a Registered Biosecurity Entity.

7. Successful applicant must hold public liability insurance.

8. Council will have right of access to the property for inspection purposes.

Lot 110 RY117 and Lot 84 SP123569 (194.2 hectares)

Applicant must provide the following information:

1. Price offered to Council for lease of land.

2. Certificate for Registered Biosecurity Entity. 

3. Property Identification Code for the land.

4. Ownership of stock.

5. Brands and earmarks of stock.

6. Property where stock are coming from.

7. Number and gender of stock requiring agistment - maximum of 15 head. 8. Explanation of the need for agistment.

9. Public Liability Insurance Certificate of Currency.

All applications must be submitted to council@barc.qld.gov.au by Friday 25 July 2025 at 4.30pm.
