Council invites tenders for the upgrade to an open stormwater channel located in Forestwood Drive Park, Buderim. The objective is to provide an upgraded drainage channel through the service easement to improve flow capacity and replace damaged infrastructure.

The scope of works includes, but is not limited to:

•  Removal and replacement of an existing timber retaining wall with a new masonry block retaining wall, including concrete base;
•  Removal, replacement and re-grading of the existing concrete stormwater channel,
•  Concrete v-drain and spoon drain construction,
•  Installation of box culverts and replacement of footpath,
•  Grouted rock transitions, rock dissipation sections in the channel, and installation of flexible concrete matting,
•  Tree clearing and landscaping,
•  Removal and replacement/reinstatement of property boundary fences.

The Contractor is to provide all materials, plant, and qualified labour, and to perform all necessary operations to ensure proper completion of the works associated with the Contract This is a lump sum Contract with and expected commencement of early September 2025 with functional completion being 19 December 2025.
