ABOUT THE CITY OF COFFS HARBOUR (The City):
Coffs Harbour is positioned halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. Coffs Harbour is a thriving regional coastal city of approximately 78,000 people and enjoys a unique lifestyle created by its geography and climate. Nestled between coastal slopes of the Great Dividing Range and the 80 kilometres of golden beaches that form its boundaries Coffs Harbour has gained a reputation as a dynamic and rapidly expanding economic hub.
ABOUT THIS REQUEST FOR TENDER (RFT):
The City is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced fencing installers interested in providing fencing services under City contract CON00671 Supply and Installation of New Security Fence at Marcia Street Depot located in Coffs Harbour. The works will be conducted under contract Mini Minor Works agreement, a copy of which is included in the RFT document package.
REGISTRATION:
RFT documents can be downloaded after registration electronically.
ENQUIRIES:
Enquiries should be directed to the City's representative Mr Andrew Gray Project Manager via the online forum. The deadline for enquiries is 3pm on Friday 15 August 2025.
SITE INSPECTION:
Whilst a site inspection is not mandatory, the City strongly recommends that proponents undertake a site visit which can be arranged by contacting the City's representative using the contact details in the RFT document.
SUBMISSIONS:
Completed responses must be submitted via the electronic tender box using the two MSWord versions of the RFT document (one document is the MMW agreement, the other is the additional schedules).
CLOSING DATE AND TIME:
Close date for RFT submissions is 10.00am on Wednesday 20th August 2025. Submissions must be fully uploaded by this time as the portal cuts off exactly on 10.00am
The City is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all parts of the tender, and reserves the right to conduct the RFT process and select the successful respondent as is most advantageous.
Apart from the City representative detailed in the RFT document, any other City staff members are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed submissions will not be accepted. Canvassing of City officials with regard to this RFT will render a submission ineligible for evaluation.
