Traffic Management Services - Three (3) Year Contract

⁠⁠⁠The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking suitably qualified, experienced, and accredited Traffic Management Services Contractor to provide the Principal with Traffic Management Services across various locations within the Principals local government area.

The Works/Services includes, but is not limited to:

• Provision of traffic management planning, including submission and approval of Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) in accordance with Main Roads WA requirements.
• Deployment, maintenance, and removal of temporary traffic management measures such as signage, barriers, delineation devices, and pedestrian controls.
• Supply of accredited Traffic Controllers and support personnel.
• Coordination with local authorities and emergency services.
• Risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Management of traffic flow around work sites to ensure the safety of road users, pedestrians, and workers.
• Incident management and on-site adjustment of traffic management plans as required.
• 24/7 emergency response capability.
• Restoration of the site to its original condition upon completion of works; and
• Other related services as directed by the Principal’s Representative or detailed in the Specification.

Control of traffic shall be in accordance with AS 1742.3, SAA HB81, Main Roads WA publication “Traffic Management for Roadworks: Code of Practice 2025”, including any revisions that occur during the Contract period.

The successful Tenderer shall be responsible for providing all personnel, Traffic management Plans, plant, equipment, signage, materials, transport, supervision, administration, etc and anything else necessary to carry out all the works and/or services required or requested under the proposed Contract.

All services shall be executed to the satisfaction of the Principal’s Representative in strict accordance with the Contract, this Specification, and the Contracted Schedule of Rates along with any work instruction issued by the Principal’s Representative

The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of three (3) years from the date of award of the Contract with Principal instigated options to extend the Contract period by an additional one (1) year period and for up to twelve (12) months after that to a maximum of five (5) years.
