Council is seeking tenders from suitably equipped firms to provide:

• Design and consultation services for building security and public spaces, including all elements of CCTV, alarm systems and access control with requirements to be gathered from within Council and a solution provided drawing on the Tenderer’s understanding of best practices; this to apply both for new buildings and spaces and retrofit to existing spaces;
• Installation services based on the designs provided above, after approval by Council, including physical locks, control points, sensors and cameras, cabling and conduiting, integration with the network, testing and commissioning; (note Council reserves the right to award major installation contracts to other firms as a part of an integrated delivery program by that firm)
• Reactive maintenance and minor works of both new and existing equipment and software as outlined in this tender and supporting documents;
• Proactive maintenance and monitoring of availability, including responding to hardware faults, camera cleaning and mechanical locking issues (separable portion at Council’s discretion based on available funding)
• Provision of security patrols, lock up and unlock services (Optional)
