The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is a comprehensive health service that supports and treats children from around Western Australia; this includes the provision of medical imaging for children. The Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) requires trained sonographers to undertake a broad range of scans to ensure that patients can access sonography services without the need for long delays. CAHS will be seeking to establish a panel of sonographer resources to provide services at the PCH Medical Imaging Department. The resultant panel arrangement is intended to be used:

• for ongoing planned services of sonography requirements over extended periods of time; and
• on an ad hoc basis to maintain continuity of services (e.g. full time employees on-site take leave entitlements).
