Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The request seeks to engage experienced sellers who have capability to provide the Digital Services team of the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide ICT Advisory (and consulting) Services.

Independent technical research and analysis services are an important source of technology trend information and help to inform the department’s staff on a broad spectrum of issues.

Main Requirements

The service will be used by Digital Services for a broad range of ICT Advisory services, however, at a minimum you should excel in:

  • Extensive expertise in Market analysis
  • Extensive expertise in Technology forecasting
  • Extensive expertise in Vendor evaluations and strategic advisory
  • Extensive expertise in delivering Research reports, whitepapers and case studies that provide insights and recommendations
  • Extensive expertise in providing peer reviews of documents developed in-house as well as by other 3rd parties
  • Extensive expertise in providing architectural reviews and offering advice on ICT planning and budget forecasts
  • Extensive expertise in providing significant guidance and potentially co-development of new policies, strategies and frameworks e.g. Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Risk and ICT Governance
  • Ability to facilitate peer networking to encourage cross-government collaboration / private sector collaboration in approaches to cyber security and other high value topics
  • Experience in providing personalised consulting services to help identify, plan and implement your recommendations and strategies, and
  • Experience in conducting workshops, webinars and training sessions to educate clients on emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Ability to provide a service at good value which is accessible by more than one staff member to ensure maximum benefit is gained by the department
  • Roles at AIATSIS require candidates and suppliers to understand the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and proven culturally appropriate engagement and communications skills. The nature of this role is no different and requires the successful Supplier to consistently demonstrate the following specific cultural capabilities:

     -understands the sources of knowledge resting with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, stakeholders and networks.
