Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified operators, organisations, and consortia for the future use and operation of the Norm O’Neill Cricket Training Facility, located in Penshurst Park Sporting Hub. The facility currently operates under a management agreement and is used as a cricket-focused training hub.

Council is seeking to explore a broader range of potential uses for the facility to ensure that its long-term use delivers the highest community and commercial return in alignment with Council's strategic objectives.

Council is open to innovative and diverse proposals that may or may not include cricket as a primary activity. Council is seeking a wide range of proposals that may:

• Retain or enhance current services for the community and visitors to the LGA.

• Propose new recreational, community, educational, cultural, or commercial events or functions.

• Deliver recreational outcomes in line with the Community Infrastructure Needs Assessment and Acquisition Area Strategy.

• Respondents are encouraged to be innovative in suggesting new uses or hybrid models, with the goal of maximising public benefit and commercial viability.
