This Request for Tenders (RFT) is issued jointly by Ōtorohanga District Council (ODC) and Waitomo District Council (WDC), referred to below as “the Councils” or “the Buyer” or “we” or “us”.

This is a joint procurement for the provision of waste services, including:

•  kerbside refuse collections
•  kerbside recyclables collections
•  servicing of litter and public place recycling bins (street bins)
•  operation and maintenance of facilities
•  Te Kuiti Transfer Station (WDC contract)
•  rural recycling centres
•  rural transfer stations
•  consolidation, transportation and processing of recyclables
•  consolidation, transportation and disposal of waste
