Ipswich City Council operates a growing fleet to support its services across the region. While Council maintains a small team of in-house mechanics and has OEM agreements for newer, warranty-covered vehicles, there remains a gap in service coverage.

With the city’s population projected to exceed 500,000 by 2041, demand for fleet expansion and maintenance will continue to rise. Council is committed to ensuring its fleet remains fully operational and well-maintained to meet increasing service needs.

Council is seeking submissions from qualified suppliers to provide fleet mechanical services. This Request for Tender (RFT) invites capable providers located within 25 km of the Ipswich City Council boundaries to support Council’s ongoing operations and service delivery.
