Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $17 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $154 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: High school education resources (MT24021).
The overall objectives of the services are to
• Insert onion and potato industry information and examples into education resources freely accessible to high school students (Years 7-10) and aligned to the Australian high school curriculum.
• Cultivate a greater appreciation amongst high school students about onion and potato production, nutrition and a potential career in these horticultural industries.
The delivery partner should be
• appropriately qualified to produce resources aligned with Australian Curriculum requirements (An understanding of state and territory curricula is desirable);
• experienced in creating age-appropriate resources that improve student understanding and engagement; and
• understand the needs of teachers in delivering high-quality, differentiated curriculum content in an educational setting.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
