Tasmanian Railway Pty Ltd (TasRail) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified, experienced and competent Contractor to undertake a range of activities to upgrade the existing BMEF Infeed Circuit.

TasRail is seeking a design and construct model. The planned activities are designed to improve access, compliance in the areas of access and guarding, general repairs and maintenance, and reliability improvements in conformance with the documents issued or referenced in this Tender. TasRail will approve the detailed design drawings prior to proceeding.

There are two (2) packages of work in this request. Further detail of the scope can be located in Section 2 and Appendix A of the tender package.

Respondents may choose to submit for only one package if the second is not within their capabilities or capacity. TasRail may choose to award a different contractor for each package.

TasRail anticipates awarding the contract in August 2025, with works to be completed as soon as practicable upon contract execution (as agreed at contract award).
