Source Structural Firefighting and Utility Boots footwear that meet FRNSW specifications, policy and are suitable for use during all firefighting and rescue activity

Project goals

Source a supplier (s) to:

• Supply Operational Footwear Solutions (Male and Female Structural Firefighting and Utility Boots) that protect firefighters feet, meet specifications, and deliver comfort.
• Deliver to NSW Firefighters state wide or to an FRNSW appointed 3PL provider.
• Provide Customer Support Services to firefighters and the Principal.
• Maintain required levels of Inventory

Scope

• Supply Operational Footwear Solutions (Male and Female Structural Firefighting and Utility Boots) that protect firefighters feet, meet specifications Part E1 (for Structural Firefighting) and Part E2 (for Utility Boots), and deliver comfort.
• Supply associated accessories
• Some degree of manufacturer boot customisation in relation to length and/or Width
• Delivery to NSW Firefighters state-wide or to an FRNSW appointed 3PL provider.
• Customer Support Services by email and phone to firefighters (State wide) and to the Principal.
• Ways to enhance accuracy of correct size selection.
• Maintaining required levels of Inventory by size
• Integrate as relevant with FRNSW SAP Enterprise System

Additional details/instructions

Provide samples of tendered boots with certificates of compliance with standards at time of tender

Short listed tenders to submit boots in required sizes and time frame for wearer trials.
