Tender Description

The existing fendering system of East Street Jetty has been considered to be of unserviceable condition. Tenders are invited for the Design and Construction of East Street Jetty Fendering System Replacement.

Scope of Works

The following key elements are included in the scope of works:

(i) Preliminary and Final Design and relevant documentation including design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reporting;

(ii) Design, supply, installation, and certification of a new fendering system including relevant supporting structure, accessories, and fixings;

(iii) Design, supply, installation, and certification of an additional lower level landing including relevant supporting structure, accessories, and fixings;

(iv) Design, supply, installation, and certification of corrosion protection to achieve the required thickness allowance considering a 25year design life;

(v) Supply, and installation of berthing signages; and,

(vi) Preparation and supply of as constructed documents and Operation and Maintenance Manuals and specialist tools and equipment necessary to maintain the new fendering system at the completion of the WUC, or otherwise as agreed with the Superintendent.

The Contractor shall be responsible for all temporary works including design of temporary works. The temporary works shall be designed to appropriate wind region / category in AS 1170.2

Briefing

A briefing session will be held at Department of Transport Office, 5 Newman Court, Fremantle on 21 Jul, 2025 10:30 AM.

Attendees in person are to meet the Department’s representatives at the reception on the ground floor at 10:15am.
