The Queensland Government through its Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning (the department) is seeking a suitably experienced supplier to deliver a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution which meets the ITO Schedule B – Specifications and the ITO Attachment 1 – Requirements for the development and delivery of a Regional Zoning Scenario Model (RZSM).

The RZSM will utilise input planning data at a property level from local governments to reflect current state and explore the impact of proposed changes in land use (zoning) policy (scenarios) on supply capacity for housing and employment across South East Queensland (SEQ). The RZSM delivered through the Growth Monitoring Unit (GMU) of the Regional and Spatial Planning (RSP) division within the Planning Group in the department and will assist in the implementation and monitoring of planning policy on land for housing and employment as part of the governments ShapingSEQ 2023 strategic plan.
