Darwin Region - Bakewell Primary School - Mechanical Demolition and Equipment Installation

Upgrade the Withdrawal/Teachers Prep rooms of Blocks A & B and the Community Room at Bakewell Primary School from standalone DX systems to chilled water-based air conditioning systems, consistent with the site chilled water strategy.

The majority of the school already operates on chilled water, with provisions having already been made in the infrastructure to accommodate the addition of these spaces.

It is noted that while predominantly a mechanical services project, the scope of works of this project shall include:

• Removal of ceiling tiles, lights and associated fittings, and ceiling grid for reuse
• Measure chilled water flow and document for whole site, install chilled water fan coil units, chilled water pipe work and associated valves and drains to units include safe trays,
• Connect electrical and controls and BMS to site including update graphical interface commission units and rebalance whole sites hilled water system

Where building works are required, the individual contracted to build must hold a current builder’s registration in one of the following categories: building contractor commercial (restricted)
