Quick Response Grant (Multicultural Grants Program)

⁠⁠⁠The aim of MGP Quick Response is to provide funding to assist with unplanned events or changing circumstances.

•  Assist the community’s knowledge and appreciation of different cultures
•  Foster opportunities for multicultural communities to maintain, develop and express their cultural and linguistic diversity
•  Accessible and can be attended by the broader Northern Territory community

• be operating as a not for profit organisation
• be physically located and actively operating in the NT
• have met acquittal requirements for all previous funding (this grant) and complied with all other accountability requirements
• have met acquittal requirements for previous grants from this department and complied with all other accountability requirements
• have met acquittal requirements for all previous Northern Territory Government grants and complied with all other accountability requirements
• have adequately demonstrated that the grant will not duplicate funding already provided under this or other Northern Territory Government funding sources

• Not-for-profit and/or charitable incorporated multicultural community organisations
• Not-for-profit and/or charitable incorporated multicultural community organisations that are in partnership with other organisations to deliver a project
• Not-for-profit unincorporated multicultural community organisation that has an auspice organisation that has agreed to administer the grant
• Other incorporated, not-for-profit and/or charitable organisations where a proposed project meet the grant aim and criteria

• Individuals, government, local government and private-for-profit groups are not eligible for assistance.
