Tender Description

Project goals

  •  Establishment of a reputable contractor to deliver maintenance and repairs to AHO properties in the far western region of NSW
  •  Maintaining and repairing AHO’s property portfolio to meet Statutory requirements and tenant expectations
  •  Providing industry best practice maintenance solutions to the community
  •  The establishment of scalable contract model that can be expanded if required to successfully maintain a larger suite of properties
  •  Developing Aboriginal participation and employment opportunities for the duration of the contract.
  •  Improved client communication
  • Improved overall portfolio condition and reduced maintenance backlog in contract area

Scope

The expected deliverables within scope include the following:

  •  Program / Project management
  •  Aboriginal Workforce Program management and implementation
  •  Developing a strategy to meet the unique needs of remote communities and support the governance structure of the Murdi Paaki RAHLA
  •  Bathroom and kitchen refurbishments
  •  Internal and external painting
  •  Conducting general repairs to improve the condition of the homes
  •  Replacing or upgrading floor coverings
  •  Installing or repairing fences around the properties
  •  Upgrading electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality
  •  Improving sewer, plumbing, water, stormwater, and guttering systems
  •  Replacing roofs to enhance durability and safety
  •  Recladding the exterior and replacing windows
  •  Air conditioners replacement or repair.
