As the central element of the City Centre project, Mount Barker’s new Town Square will become the primary cultural hub of the Mount Barker District.

As a place for friends, family, visitors, and community to gather and connect, the Town Square’s design will reflect both the rich history and dynamic future of our rapidly growing region.

Integral to this vision is the commissioning of a major new public artwork(s).

Bold and ambitious, the new artwork will elevate the site to a place of cultural excellence, will be a source of civic pride for the residents of Mount Barker and will be an attractor of visitors in its own right.

Mount Barker are now seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from artist(s) for the design and implementation of this new public art project.

In order to be kept informed of any new information regarding this EOI, registrants are encouraged either to email tenders@mountbarker.sa.gov.au with their intention to submit, or to regularly check Council’s website for any updates.
