Project goals

The Trust is required by legislation to manage the Western Sydney Parklands and meets the vision and objectives stated in the Plan of Management 2030. The Parklands’ Plan of Management 2030 identifies an objective to increase bushland biodiversity by;

• Expanding existing biodiversity corridors and core habitats and connect the Parklands to the Green Grid across Western Sydney

• Undertaking environmental management practices that improve understorey and groundcover biodiversity.

Scope

The Contractor will provide a bush regeneration service. The deliverables for this tender will include:

• Reporting

o Monthly progress reporting of works undertaken

o Annual vegetation condition surveys.

• Key Threatening Processes

o Identify and reduce the key threatening processes for each site

• Increase Diversity

o Increase vegetation diversity through Plant Community Types (PCT) structured planting

• Erosion Control

• Waste Management

o Removal of rubbish, debris, rubble, hazardous substances, and other items not salvaged or preserved.

Site inspections to be conducted quarterly with a Trust representative.

Mandatory Supplier Briefing

Date/Time - Tuesday 1st July 2025 – 1PM

The Site Briefing is mandatory and will be held Online (Microsoft Teams).

Please advise within 24 hours before supplier briefing of names of people attending to receive the Teams Meeting Link.

In addition, photographic evidence of self-directed site visit during the RFT period is required.

2.Mandatory Requirements

These are the minimum criteria for a respondent to demonstrate the ability to deliver a fit for purpose solution. These criteria are to be evaluated on a pass/fail basis. Responses which do not demonstrate compliance with the mandatory criteria will be excluded from the evaluation.

1. Minimum TAFE Certificate IV in Conservation and Land Management for Team Leaders/Site Managers and experience in similar vegetation types.

2. Mandatory online/office Site Briefing attendance and photographic evidence of self-directed site visit during the RFT period

3. Evidence of suitable WHS Management System – submit recently implemented (3 years) site specific WHS management plan for project of equivalent activities.

4. Evidence of suitable Environmental Management System – submit recently implemented (3 years) site specific Environmental management plan for project of equivalent activities.
