ABOUT THE COUNCIL: The Gilgandra local government area is situated in the central west of NSW and covers an area of 4,800 square kilometers, including the township of Gilgandra and two smaller villages of Tooraweenah and Armatree.
ABOUT THE QUOTATION: The Regional Drought Resilience Planning Program was established as part of the NSW Government's Future Ready Regions Strategy. The fund was for identified regions in NSW to develop drought resilience plans that can be implemented by councils and their communities to manage future drought risks.
Gilgandra Shire Council and Warrumbungle Shire Council consortium has successfully developed the Castlereagh Country Regional Drought Resilience Plan for their LGAs. This plan has been endorsed and the Councils are moving into the implementation phase of the plan.
Gilgandra Shire Council (in consortium with Warrumbungle Shire Council and on behalf of 'Castlereagh Country') will implement three drought resilience projects as per the endorsed Regional Drought Resilience Plan for Castlereagh Country.

SUBMISSIONS: Gilgandra Shire Council requests tenderers to submit their quotation via the electronic tender box using either the word or pdf version of the form.

LOCAL PURCHASING POLICY: Gilgandra Shire Council has a local purchasing policy.
STATEMENT OF BUSINESS ETHICS: Gilgandra Shire Council will undertake this quotation in accordance with its Statement of Business Ethics.
The Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Quotation or all or any part of a Quotation and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Quotation process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
