Provision of an Aeromedical Retrieval and Inter-Hospital Transfers Service, in the Top End, Big Rivers and East Arnhem Regions of the NT, with 24/7 Availability for a Period of 120 Months

NT Health is seeking the provision of primary aeromedical retrieval services and intra-Territory transfer of patients between NT Health hospitals across the Big Rivers, East Arnhem and Top End regions of the NT for a period of ten (10) years

The successful proponent will provide primary aeromedical retrieval services and intra-Territory hospital transfers for high and low acuity patients across the Top End of the Territory in accordance with NT Health’s aviation and clinical standards, and aircraft and clinical equipment requirements.

The requirement includes the supply of aircraft, pilots, medical staff, engineering, equipment, systems and ground staff to deliver the services and also the delivery of aircraft familiarisation training to NT Health clinicians.

The requirement includes road ambulance services required to transfer patients between hospitals and airports.

NT Health will support the delivery of services through the provision of access to existing NT Government hangars at Darwin, Katherine and Gove airports.
