Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) inviting quotes for a fence upgrade at Nyirripi Aged Care. Please see RFQ - Fence Upgrade at Nyirripi Aged Care for details.

SCOPE OF WORKS/SPECIFICATIONS (SOW)

This project includes upgrading the Nyirripi Aged care centre Fence. Nyirripi is about 440 km from Alice Springs in the Southern Tanami ward. It has a population of nearly 300 people. Nyirripi can be accessed by two main routes.

• Head north on the Stuart Highway and turn left onto the Tanami Highway to Yuendumu. From there, Nyirripi is approximately 150 km west-southwest along an unsealed road.

• Head north on the Stuart Highway and turn left onto the Tanami Highway until 23 km past Tilmouth Well roadhouse. Turn left on the unsealed Mt Wedge road and continue west to Nyirripi.

The contractor is to allow for all Mobilisation and demobilisation costs including freight charges, machinery hiring, travel and ongoing administrative expenses including accommodation costs.

Scope of Works.

All works must be completed as per Australian standards and related National construction Codes.

Fence Upgrade

• Removal of the existing fence and installation of a new fence along an approximate perimeter of 150lm.

• The new fence must be a tubular squash-top design, with a height of 2400mm with galvanised steel tubes.

The fence is to include:

• 2x vehicle access gates

• 1x pedestrian access gate, to be installed adjacent to one of the vehicle gates
