Heritage Stoneworks seeks a suitable contractor to supply heritage specific roof slates for 5 heritage significant buildings. The contractor will need complete the full supply of roof slates.

Project goals

Heritage Stoneworks (HSW) is looking to engage a supplier who can purchase of the below roof slate types, to provide slate supply for future installation across the school sites and transport to the site.

• 8,547 first grade Vermont Unfading Green slates,
• 49,434 Welsh first grade Cwt-y-Bugail capital/county slates,
• 9,320 Welsh firstgrade Penrhyn capital/county slates.

The type of roof slate required is heritage specific, as these school buildings are listed with heritage significance and for this reason, the roof slate to be supplied, needs to be sourced from the original regions in United Kingdom (UK) and United States of America (USA).

Scope

Sourcing Scope includes, but not limited to:

• Procurement of approx. 8,547 pieces of 1st Grade Vermont Unfading Green roof slates 500mmlong x 250mm wide holed at 90mm head lap.
• Procurement of approx. 49,434 pieces of 1st Grade Welsh Cwt-y-Bugail roof slates 500mm long x250mm wide holed at 90mm head lap.
• Procurement of approx. 9,320 pieces of 1st Grade Welsh Penrhyn Heather Blue roof slates 500mmlong x 250mm wide holed at 90mm head lap.
• International Shipping to Sydney Port.
• All duty, customs and import costs including tax
• Delivery from port to Chullora storage facility

Sourcing Scope Excludes:

• Unloading at Chullora storage facility
• Delivery of roofing projects on school sites
