Tender Description
Bayside Council invites suitably experienced and qualified contractors to submit a tender for the construction of a new amenities building and carpark upgrade at Sir Joseph Banks Park Botany.
Bayside Council plans to announce the successful contractor October 2025, with site establishment to commence October 2025.
Works include the following:
• Demolition of the existing public amenities building and associated semi-above ground sewerage pump. Existing connection to septic tanks to be removed and connection to water to be capped;
• Construction of new amenities building;
• Relocate existing electrical board from existing power pole to service corridor;
• Upgrade cold water line to 50mm;
• Water and sewer connection to Fremlin Street;
• Upgrade existing carpark;
• Construction of new pathways;
• New landscaping and trees;
• Removal of 8 trees; and
• On completion, all disturbed ground from the construction works, site access and site movements are to be smoothed over, levelled and made good.

A mandatory site inspection will be held on site Wednesday 25th June 2025 at 10:30am. Meeting point is the location of the amenities building.
