Project goals

Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for T54-25 The Crest Hockey Upgrade. Tenderers are not required to be members of Construction Scheme (SCM0256) to be considered for this project

(1) Hockey Field Works

•  Removal and disposal of existing surface including tipping fee
• Supply and install new synthetic surface Platinum GT Hockey Synthetic turf

(2) Rectification Works as Per Reports Provided

• Clean existing shock pad from silt built up in the voids
•  Supply and install new shockpad to provide uniform and consistent under-layer of hockey turf where highlighted in report 6858
• Remove tree roots (as per Note 1.06 of the construction drawings) and install Root Barrier along the outside edge of the fence line as per Pitch Inspection report

(3) Handover

• Provide FIH testing and category -3 certification for synthetic system
• Site clean-up & Dis-Establishment. This item includes restoration of area used for site compound, stockpile and other construction activities
• Submission of Work-As-Executed Drawings at Practical Completion. A Registered Surveyor shall certify all drawing sheets.

Compulsory Briefing

Council will conduct a compulsory briefing for potential Tenderers to be held as follows:

• Time: 11am Date: 25 June 2025
• Location: Bankstown Hockey Club, Mount St, Georges Hall NSW 2198

Please sign attendance sheet on the day.

Council will not consider a Tender lodged by a Tenderer who fails to sign the attendance sheet at this briefing or fails to ensure that a representative of the Tenderer signs the attendance sheet on its behalf.
