The AFCT is seeking a proven experienced supplier to provide modern moving light fixtures to supplement existing Moving Light Equipment and replace the existing legacy lighting equipment at Her Majesty’s Theatre.

• providing high-quality lighting experience for AFC’s audience.
• transition to contemporary lighting equipment with improved performance and functionality.
• leverage innovation to continually improve lighting reproduction and design outcomes.
• achieving value for money in procurement.
• supporting local industry development in accordance with Government of South Australia policies.

• The current fixed lighting in HMT does not meet the current needs and demands of our hirers; procuring additional equipment will help to meet the ongoing technical needs of our hirers criteria.
• The expectation of all AFCT Venue Hirers (internal as well as external) is that they’re provided with a state-of-the-art, safe, clean, quality venue that offers the hirer, with up-to-date technology as part of a value for money Venue Hirer offering.

The objective of this project is to invest in tangible outcomes for the public of South Australia by procuring modern state of the art’s technical equipment for the future and to further incentivize hirers to utilise the South Australia’s premier arts and entertainment venue.

The specific requirements are:

• This contract will be for a one-off purchase of technical lighting goods and will be required to fulfill the mandatory and evaluation criteria outlined in the 'specification documentation'.
• The winning bidder will be required to provide a minimum of a 5-year warranty cover of the goods purchased.
• The goods will be delivered to Her Majesty’s Theatre, Pitt Street, Adelaide.
• The goods are expected to be delivered to Her Majesty’s Theatre by December 2025.

The key deliverables required of this scope of works are to provide a Moving Light package that will include:

• supply;
• delivery;
• testing;
• electronic list of all component model and serial numbers;
• commissioning; and
• warranties.

This requirement also includes all:

• associated rigging hardware and kits;
• cabling to adapt to various setups;
• road cases to enable safe storage and system mobility.
