The joint Business Unit called Ruamahanga Roads is responsible for both Carterton and South Wairarapa District Councils for the delivery of the Councils' Land Transport Activity. It aims to maximise efficiency, achieve increased regional consistency, and optimise the use of internal resources.

The Bridge and Geotechnical Structure Inspection Programme forms part of the Ruamahanga Roads asset management.

We are looking to engage a skilled, experienced and readily available engineering company who can provide the bridge and geotechnical structure inspections on behalf of Ruamahanga Roads.

This contract is intended to cover a full cycle of inspections over a 3 year period, with a possible extension of 1year plus 1 year. The general scope of works includes General and Principal Bridge inspections under the NZTA

S6 policy, Visual and Detailed Geotechnical Structure inspections under the NZTA S7 policy and updating the asset database after each inspection.
