The Dunedin City Council (DCC) is seeking to partner with an experienced Contractor to carry out essential slip repair works on our roading network. Following the October flooding in Dunedin last year, seven sites have been prioritised for this contract. The works, which have been fully designed, include:

• Rock Buttress Construction
• Gabion Basket Wall Construction
• Geogrid Reinforced Slope Construction
• Terrace Reinforced Slope

The DCC seeks to partner with a Contractor experienced in retaining wall or slip repair construction including working at heights, rock buttress and gabion basket installation. It is important to us that we work with a Contractor who has a track record of completing work to programme. We expect the Contractor to show proactive communication and raise any technical issues with the DCC Point of Contact in a timely manner. The work must be completed by 30 April 2026.
