The Mulwala Facility is owned by the Commonwealth of Australia and operated by Thales, trading as Australian Munitions, producing energetic materials for the Australian Defence Force.

The Mulwala property consists of ~328 hectares suitable for sheep and cattle and 1 habitable house. In addition, the lessee will be required to run sheep (only) within the manufacturing area (~640 hectares).

Australian Munitions is certified to ISO14001 Environmental Management System. Tenders will need to comply with the environmental management system and other requirements defined in the EOI documentation.
