Livingstone Shire Council is inviting Expressions of Interest for Stage 2 of the Capricorn Coast Homemaker Centre — a strategic commercial development opportunity in Yeppoon’s thriving growth corridor. Building on the success of Stage 1, which includes major national retailers like Bunnings Warehouse, Stage 2 offers two fully serviced lots (1.025 ha and 2.079 ha) in a prime location. With significant infrastructure upgrades underway and a growing regional population, this initiative is designed to attract large-format retail, stimulate private sector investment, and deliver long-term economic and community benefits.

This EOI marks the first phase of a two-stage procurement process, with shortlisted proponents progressing to a selective tender.

Proponents will be evaluated against the stated criteria, including their capacity to meet the Council’s objectives for the successful development of the site. Proposals should demonstrate how the intended use and design will contribute to the strategic vision for the Homemaker Centre and support activation of the broader precinct.
