Tender Description

Background

About evokeᴬᴳ⋅

In February 2019, AgriFutures Australia launched evokeᴬᴳ⋅ – an international agrifood tech event that brings the world’s brightest agriculture, technology, and investment minds together to help shape the future of Australia and the region’s food and fibre industries. The success of the 2019 event peaked interest in the agrifood tech sector, resulting in approaches to AgriFutures Australia to host the 2021, 2022 and 2024 events.

Building on this momentum, evokeᴬᴳ⋅ continued to grow, with the 2025 event taking place on February 18 – 19 in Brisbane, Queensland. This year’s theme, “Common Ground,” invited the agrifood tech and innovation community to come together, fostering collaboration and addressing universal challenges. evokeᴬᴳ⋅ 2025 was the largest event yet:

  • 1,957 delegates from over 25 countries
  • Over 2,000 attendees including media and crew
  • Featured 40 startups in Startup Alley, 16 from overseas
  • Included 12 scaleups in Scaleup Station, all Startup Alley Alumni
  • 344 delegates identified as primary producers (17.5% of total delegates)
  • 201 international attendees from 25 countries. These included delegates, startups, scale-ups, partners, and speakers
  • Delegations from New Zealand, Canada, China, Singapore, Vietnam, UK, Israel, and Taiwan
  • 57 sideline events including symposiums/conferences, networking events, showcases, tours, and pitch events.
  • Sideline events showcased agriculture across Queensland, highlighting the state’s agricultural innovation and regional strengths.

The event delivered a vibrant, hands-on experience, sparking collaboration and fuelling critical thinking that leads to action. Attendees experienced real-world insights, transformative ideas, and seamless networking opportunities. The event featured a variety of sessions, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, and breakout sessions focused on topics such as sustainability, future technology, and workforce skills.
