Scope

Camden Council invites tenders for Stage 1 of the Field Improvement Works at Onslow Sports Field - Cawdor Road, Camden. A detailed description of the requirements can be found in Council's Request for Tender document.

Please disregard the requirement to be a member of the Construction Scheme for works up to $1 million SCM0256 referenced on the buy NSW portal. This is an open Tender and Camden Council are not procuring under the NSW Buy scheme.

The scope of works shall include but are not be limited to the following:

• Site Establishment and temporary works as required to complete the works.

• Existing service locating and identifying works in accordance with the Specification.

• Protection of existing services in accordance with the drawings & Specification.

• Conformance of quality control of the specified materials in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications

• Provision for temporary fencing and ongoing management during the project.

• Management of all WHS requirements in accordance with the NSW WHS legislation 2021 acting as the Principal Contractor

• Management of Environmental controls of the site in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications

• Protect and retain items listed in accordance with the drawings & Specification.

• Demolition of existing site items in accordance with the drawings & Specification.

• Supply and install new irrigation system including tank and pump shed, utilising the existing water supply in accordance with the drawing and specifications. (Note: all pipework is to have a trace wire installed)

• Irrigation system commissioning, handover and x1 training session with council staff

• Supply and install a new Subsoil drainage system for the field in accordance with thedrawing and specifications.

• Ensure that the newly installed trenches are compacted and level with the surrounding surface.

• Removal of all spoil and waste from site

• Reinstatement areas disturbed during construction to pre-existing conditions to the satisfaction of the Superintendent.

• Light sand hand topdressing may be required to address and low spots in the newly con-structed subsoil drainage or other trenches.

• Upon completion of the project, comprehensive documentation will be provided, including as-built drawings. A final inspection and handover process will be conducted to ensure the successful completion of the sports field improvement works project.
