The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is seeking a supplier to implement the SAP Project System Module to improve the department’s controls and accountabilities for project budget and cost management.

Key Responsibilities of the SME:

• ‘Day to day’ project delivery under the direction of the departments appointed business project manager.

Project Planning and Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
• Conduct a gap analysis to identify current system limitations and future requirements.

Business Process Alignment

• Extrapolate existing business processes to align with SAP best practices.
• Develop a solution blueprint to define the target solution for implementation.

System Configuration and Customisation

• Configure the SAP Project Systems module and related SAP configuration areas (e.g. SAP purchasing and CATS timesheet, workflow)) to meet business needs.

Data Migration

• Develop a data migration plan and deliver subsequent data migration activities (e.g. SAP PS WBS master data).

Testing and Validation

• Test management plan and execution (excluding user acceptance testing) in accordance with the departments ERP Test Management Framework.
• Address and rectify test management issues as agreed by the project manager.

Training and Change Management

• In consultation with the IWOW Program Change Manager/Team, develop user support, training materials and deliver end-user training sessions.

Go-Live Support

• Develop a cut-over plan for go-live.

Under the direction of the project manager, and in consultation with project team members, execute the cut-over plan.

• Provide post go-live support for a period of up to 2 months.

Document Deliverables

• User support and Training Materials

Skills Required

• Extensive expertise with the implementation of SAP Project systems and related SAP configuration areas.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost management and reporting business processes.
• Proficiency in data migration, and system testing.
• Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills
