Dear Tenderer,

Richmond Shire Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the Preferred Suppliers Panel (Wet and Dry Hire of Plant and Equipment) to support upcoming civil construction and infrastructure works within the Richmond Shire.

We invite you to submit a Tender for the supply of plant and machinery under both wet (with operator) and dry (without operator) hire arrangements for the duration of the 2026 Financial Year.

Scope of Services

This panel will support a wide range of Council operations and projects across infrastructure, civil construction, maintenance, plant hire, professional services, and general goods and services. Being part of this panel offers your business an opportunity to work alongside Council in delivering high-quality outcomes for our community and region.

All plant must comply with relevant legislation and be maintained to operational and safety standards.

Tender Requirements

Tenderers are required to provide:

1. Completed pricing schedule for both wet and dry hire

2. List of available plant including make, model, year, and attachments

3. Evidence of plant maintenance history, risk assessments and safety compliance

4. Copies of insurance certificates (Public Liability, Plant Insurance, etc.)

5. Operator qualifications (for wet hire)

6. Completed Contractor Prequalification Questionnaire
