Tender Description
This tender is for the purchase two ultralow noise, high power lasers. These lasers will be central components of a project, which develops new technologies in Brillouin microscopy for applications in cellular biomechanics. The microscope being developed requires high quality lasers to achieve ultrasensitive measurements.
This equipment will facilitate a major project in cellular characterization that will be based in the physics department, and with collaborators in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Musculoskeletal Medicine.
