SCOPE OF WORKS/SPECIFICATIONS (SOW)
This project entails repairing and upgrading works in Nyirripi Childcare Centre including safety, quality, and operational issues.
Nyirripi is about 440 km from Alice Springs in the Southern Tanami ward. It has a population of nearly 300 people. Nyirripi can be accessed by two main routes.
- Travel north on the Stuart Highway and turn left onto the Tanami Highway to Yuendumu. From there, Nyirripi is approximately 150 km west-southwest along an unsealed road.
- Travel north on the Stuart Highway and turn left onto the Tanami Highway until 23 km past Tilmouth Well roadhouse. Turn left on the unsealed Mt Wedge road and continue west to Nyirripi.
This project includes upgrading works to resolve irrigation issues with the storm water, upgrading children’s outdoor play area and landscaping works. All works must adhere to Australian standards, national construction code and childcare safety regulations.
The contractor is to allow for all Mobilisation and demobilisation costs including transport, travel and ongoing administrative expenses including accommodation costs.
