BAKEWELL UNDERPASS REMEDIATION WORKS

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport invites companies to provide a response to the Request for Tender for the Bakewell Underpass Remediation Works, Contract No. 24C217. The Project is located at Bakewell Underpass, which is located on Henley Bridge Road under James Congdon Drive and Rail Bridge.

The Department has identified an opportunity to rejuvenate the existing Bakewell Underpass by undertaking remediation works and installing artwork on the retaining walls and the underside of both rail bridge decks. To facilitate the installation of the artworks, the wall surface on both sides of the underpass will need to be remediated to allow for an appropriate canvas application of artworks.

The objectives of the project are to:

• undertake repair and rejuvenation of the Bakewell Underpass retaining walls to allow an appropriate canvas for mural artwork painting at a later stage.

MANDATORY PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Companies must meet the minimum Department pre-qualification requirements under the National Roadworks and Bridgework prequalification system as follows:

• Roadworks level: R1 (or) Bridgeworks level: B1
• Financial level: F1
