Civil Registration Market Engagement
Tender ID: 586964
Tender Details
Tender Description
The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) is conducting a market engagement process relating to our Civil Registration System. Civil registration is the system by which government records the vital life events of citizens and residents—such as adoption, birth, civil union, marriage, name change, and death. These events form the foundation of an individual’s legal identity and underpin access to all public services.
We are seeking ideas and opportunities to help shape our thinking around the future of civil registration. We welcome challenges to our current assumptions—whether they relate to technology, ways of working, or delivery models—as part of developing a long-term strategy for the system.
Please download the Civil Registration Market Information Pack and Appendices documents for full details, including our scope, vision, architectural building blocks, key system characteristics, ways of working, and how to get involved.
At this stage, we are NOT seeking proposals or quotes. This is an information-gathering process to better understand what is available in the market. It is also an opportunity for suppliers to share expertise and contribute to shaping our future procurement opportunities.
