The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley (SWEK) is seeking public Tenders for the Wyndham Community Boat Launching Facility. Respondents should note that funding has been secured to proceed with the project via the Growing Regions Program Round 2.
SWEK is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to undertake major marine construction works at Wyndham Community Boat Launching Facility located in Wyndham approximately a one-hour drive from Kununurra.
The existing facility, which has come to the end of its useful asset life consists of a two-lane boat ramp with a floating access pontoon. The project consists of 2 key components those being Landside and Waterside activities.
Landside activities provide new car parking facilities incorporating line marking and bollards, drainage, footpaths, security lighting, seating/shelters, ablutions and landscaping. Waterside activities include the removal of the existing north boat launching ramp, replacement with a new precast concrete ramp, upgrades of the southern launching ramp, an extension of the length of the ramps, a replacement pontoon system, and an additional pontoon at the end of the launching ramps.
