Anatomy Diagnostic Ultrasound Machines

⁠⁠⁠The University requires the purchase of 2 x the latest technology Ultrasound machines. The proposal is to purchase machines that will meet both the teaching and research needs of the university.

The machines that are purchased must at a minimum have the following capabilities:

• Suitability to various transducers and frequencies, and advanced imaging modes making imaging possible for various applications

• Suitability for the users including high end image quality, versatility, plunk ability, ease of use.

• Software and user interface capabilities that allow easy navigation (e.g. touchscreen interfaces), pre-set protocols, and customizable setting.

• Intelligent/mart ultrasound capabilities

• Easy to transport (cart based system) to accommodate the need for mobility

• Must preferably be upgradable to accommodate the dynamic nature of technology in the discipline (including new transducers, algorithms and quantification methods).
