HealthShare NSW seeks to procure and install new Continuous Batch Washer (CBW) systems Presses and associated equipment at Wagga and Illawarra Linen services

Procurement is for a one-off purchase and installation of equipment at Wagga Linen Services - Existing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) has advised that existing 26-year-old continuous batch washer and press installed at Wagga Linen Service are no longer supported by their factories for spare parts.

Procurement is for a one-off purchase and installation of equipment at Illawarra Linen Services - Existing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) has advised that existing 40-year-old continuous batch washer and press installed at Illawarra Linen Service are no longer supported by their factories for spare parts

Scope

HealthShare NSW seeks to procure and install new Continuous Batch Washer (CBW) systems and associated equipment at the following facilities:

• Wagga Linen Service: Replacement of the existing 26-year-old CBW and press, which is no longer supported by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for spare parts.
• llawarra Linen Service: Replacement of the existing 40-year-old CBW and press, which is no longer supported by the OEM for spare parts.

The successful supplier will be responsible for:

• Supply, delivery, and installation of new CBW systems at awarded site or sites if successful in being awarded both locations, including presses and associated components.
• Decommissioning and removal of obsolete equipment.
• Integration with existing site infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Compliance with all relevant Australian standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and infection control protocols.
• Provision of operator training and comprehensive maintenance documentation.

Site Visits – Tender Requirement

Respondents are required to undertake a site visit to each location prior to submitting their tender. Please make appropriate arrangements to attend.

Suppliers who have already attended a site visit as part of the earlier Request for Information (RFI) process are not required to attend again.

However, if you have previously visited and would like to return to either location for an additional site visit to support your tender response, please contact us and we will be pleased to arrange a suitable time.
