Cemetery Services

Logan City Council (Council) is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to undertake Cemetery Services at the following locations within Logan City.

• Beenleigh Cemetery - 31 Brigade Drive, Eagleby

• Chambers Flat Cemetery - Corner of Sungold and Chambers Flat Roads, Chambers Flat

• Eagleby Cemetery - 144 Herses Road, Eagleby

• Logan Village Cemetery - Corner of Waterford - Tamborine Road and Pioneer Drive, Logan Village

• Maclean Cemetery - Scotts Lane, North Maclean

• Parkhouse Cemetery Veivers Road, Wolffdene

The Cemetery Services required include:

• Excavation of graves

• Backfilling of graves

• Exhumations

• Removal and disposal of accumulated (potentially contaminated) spoil from storage areas

• General duties as directed by Council in writing.

ENQUIRIES:

Any questions and responses shall be collated, documented and distributed to all tenderers to ensure equity and fairness to all respondents.

All enquiries in relation to this tender must be submitted via the Online Forum in the tendering portal.

LODGEMENT OF SUBMISSIONS:

Completed responses must be submitted using the tender response forms via the portal. You are able to reference and attach relevant separate documentation as part of your response to questions to support your submission.

Any difficulty completing or uploading your submission should be urgently reported.

BRIEFING

An online tender briefing session will be held for prospective tenderers on Tuesday, 10 June 2025, via MS Teams commencing at 9.00am.

Attendance at the online tender briefing session is not mandatory. Prospective tenderers are to email tendering@logan.qld.gov.au by 5pm Friday 6 June 2025 advising the names and emails of those proposing to attend the online tender briefing session. Once registered, a link will be provided to join the session.

The Tender can only be submitted electronically through the tendering portal and prior to the Closing Date. At any time prior to the Closing Date, Council may issue additional or different information to tenderers, which shall be taken into account in preparation of the Tender.
