TasRail Request for Tender TR-250007 Youl Road Perth Underpass

TasRail is seeking the services of a suitably qualified, experienced and competent Contractor to undertake the installation of a culvert/rail underpass at Youl Road, Perth. This location forms part of the TasRail Western Line. The rail underpass has been requested by an undisclosed third party and will interface with public infrastructure on adjoining land.

The Tender is for 1 package and 1A of works in the North of the state.

Contractors will need to tender for all works. The works are to be completed within strict timeframes which are dictated by track availability as well as third party funding commitments.

Respondents to Note The package of work has in principle approval to proceed but are subject to finalisation of scope extent and resource availability. While TasRail is tendering these works in good faith, the final authority to proceed remains subject to TasRail entering into a formal agreement with the relevant third party and therefore award of contracts and acceptance of offers will be subject to TasRail's ability to execute such formal agreement with the relevant third party.

In the event a third party does not execute the required formal agreement of the work's package does not proceed, TasRail will not be liable for any costs or claims by the Contractor where those costs are directly or indirectly related to the preparation and submission of a Tender submission.
