The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a SSS OLA comprising of a shade structure, landscaping and seating at Clontarf Beach SHS, located at Cnr Elizabeth Avenue & King Street, Clontarf QLD 4019, as part of the Smart School Subsidy (SSS) program.
The new outdoor learning area is located between blocks A and D, in the centre of the school. There is limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by September 2025.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00
- QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
