The Office of Parliamentary Counsel (OPC) is exploring options to enhance records management, including an "in-place" approach using Microsoft Purview. OPC's files are stored in Azure Files and m365 SharePoint. With approximately 1400 staff divided into legal drafters, publishing/editing, and corporate services, we are looking for the following outcomes:

• A proposed information architecture for document storage, aligning with best practices in in-place records management.
• A proof of concept using Purview and other m365 tools in the E3/E5 bundle.
• A high-level roadmap for adopting in-place records management, covering off on implementation and all significant artefacts. The proposed approach will include all significant record sources like email, documents, and Teams chats.
• Assurance that the proposed solution is compliant with ISO 16175.
